- Standards: The order specifies adherence to Indian Standards IS 5484:1997
- Standard Mark; EC Grade Aluminium Rod produced by Continuous Casting and Rolling must carry the Standard Mark under a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) license as per Scheme-1 of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
- Gazette Notification: The order is specified in a Gazette Notification dated March 22, 2024.
- Effective Date: The order becomes effective on March 26, 2025, after the notification date.
