SIMS registration is mandatory for all the stakeholders must go through the list of HSCs facilitated by the Government of India and the harmonized system code HSC concerning the product shipped to India.

Fees for SIMS Registration
A registration fee of Rs 1 per thousand subject to a minimum of rs 500 and a maximum of 1 lakh on aggregate CIF value of imports will need to be paid through electronic the mode in the online system for each import registration.
Validity of SIMS Certificate
The automatic registration granted shall be valid for 75 days the license must be filled out before submitting the bill of entry with customs. it should be filled out between 15 to 60 days before the expected arrival of the imports in India.
